  • What is positioning?

    Positioning is owning a space in the mind of your audience. It is the strategic decision at the intersection of customer relevance and competitive differentiation. Volvo for example owns the position of safety in the consumers mind.

  • Who is it for?

    Whether you are launching something new (product, company) or needing to boost the traction of an existing brand, getting a good sense of your positioning will be helpful.

  • What can you expect?

    The positioning workshop process will not be a walk in the park. My job is to challenge the team and end up with a positioning that can help you win in the market. And to truly stand apart, we might have to go beyond logic.

  • STEP 1: PREPARE

    Let’s get on a quick 15 min call to understand your business goals and if this is a good fit. Then we will have 60 min input session where you will immerse me in the business as we get deep into the Category, Customer, Competitor, and the Company/ Product.

  • STEP 2: PERFORM

    I will facilitate a 3 hour virtual workshop (onsite possible) where the team (typical 3-8 participants) will be led through a few exercises to co-create the brand positioning. The team’s engagement and performance will determine the quality of the output!

  • STEP 3: POSITION

    I will take the outputs from the workshop and put together a brand positioning document. It will include the agreed upon criteria, insights from the 4 Cs and the final positioning of the brand. I will present to the team during a 60 min call, receive any feedback and send a final copy to close out the project.
